READING THE ATLAS

A map of meaning

These gods are placed by similarity in descriptions of their roles and symbols, rather than by geography. Neighbors may come from very different traditions.

The layout uses MiniLM embeddings and t-SNE. Illustrated regions are poetic guides to the clusters, not historical places or firm categories. Similarity is an invitation to explore, not proof that traditions are equivalent.

Zoom to reveal characters, search for any god, or follow the illustrated neighbors in their field notes.
